Program Policies

If you have questions regarding these policies or find any violations thereof, please let us know.

Prohibited Content

In order to protect the integrity of the Affiliate Exchange program and its member sites, we prohibit certain types of content that may be viewed as inappropriate. This includes, but is not limited to:

Ultimately, we reserve the right to determine what is or isn't appropriate.

Artificial Clickthroughs

Clickthroughs should result from genuine human interest only. This ensures that affiliates receive only high quality traffic. Encouraging users to click on affiliate links is thus generally forbidden, especially if incentives are provided. Of course, this also means that non-human clickthroughs are strictly prohibited.

Direct Linking

The Affiliate Exchange generates referral links which tell the server who is sending traffic and who is receiving it. Please do not copy these links and insert them directly into your web pages; instead let the server generate them for you.

The Affiliate Exchange uses an elaborate algorithm to balance the ingoing and outgoing traffic for each affiliate site. Using direct linking could potentially disturb this balance. You could be giving the affiliate you link to an unfair advantage by sending them continuous traffic after they've received more than their share, or you could be harming them by limiting the traffic they get from other sites.

Misleading Endorsement Claims

Please do not integrate affiliate links into your site in a way that implies endorsement. The affiliates whose trade marks appear on your website may or may not approve, so it's best to use neutral language (if any) in reference to them.
